JOB OVERVIEW : We are seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join our pharmaceutical company’s dynamic team. The Commercial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial operations of the company by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and market risks.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, market share, pricing, and product performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, including product sales trends, customer segmentation, and revenue forecasting, to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing commercial strategies.
- Develop financial models and perform profitability analysis for new products, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and sales targets, and track performance against targets.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities through ROI analysis and post-campaign evaluations.
- Support the development of business cases for new product launches, acquisitions, or partnerships by conducting market research and financial analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in clear and concise manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Economics; a Master’s in Business Administration or a similar field.
Experience: 6 months as a Commercial Analyst in Pharmaceutical Company
Salary: 50k a year
